This entry is part 8 of 13 in the series Universal Laws Series

You will be compensated based on what you give

This is an extension of The Law of Cause and Effect, specific to compensation in the physical world – the good stuff like abundance, relationships, and opportunities.  This law states that we will be blessed according to the good deeds we perform and the value we provide: when we show generosity to others, we will be compensated with generosity in return. Keep in mind that compensation comes in many forms- not just buckets of cash, a beautiful home, a Ferrari, or getting paid to chill at the beach. Compensation also comes in the form of blessings such as a good health, loyal friends, a loving family, a teacher or mentor, a job opportunity, a million-dollar idea, and so on.

So often, we give to others what we think they deserve. That mindset is fine, but it doesn’t translate to abundance. However, if we shift the mindset to over-delivering and exceed expectations, we will be compensated accordingly.

Advice:

You get out of life what you put into it, so bring your best self to whatever you do and aim to be the best version of yourself you can be. Be generous and kind and then graciously accept it with open arms when it comes back to you.
